Seven Veils
Seven Veils is a sensual and empowered pole-movement collective, based in Burlington, Vermont. We celebrate the erotic body through the embodiment of power and grace. Classes focus on cultivating sexy and effortless movement, while building strength and confidence. We acknowledge the origins of pole dance come from contemporary strip clubs.
All bodies and skill levels are welcome! We believe Black lives matter and support the LGBTQ and BIPOC communities.
The Seven Veils represent the layers of mystery and discovery that one travels through towards embodiment. A timeless dance of seduction made famous in the story of Salome and Herod II.

Hazel Bon Bon
Hazel BonBon is my performance and stage name. Feel free to call me Hazel or my family name, Michelle. I began pole dancing in the fall of 2017 and quickly fell in love with the dynamic strength and fluid shapes. I really just thought handstands would be easier with a pole! Since then, I have traveled throughout the east coast and Canada to connect with many teachers, studios and styles. In the spring of 2021, I brought group pole classes back to Burlington, VT with my studio Seven Veils. My hope is to share with you a celebration of the sensual body through power and grace on the pole.
Since the summer of 2021, until as recently as this February, I have produced numerous live pole performances in the Burlington area. Many times raising funds for charity, including Ungoverned, which raised over $2,000 for reproductive rights in the summer of 2022. It has been such an honor, privilege and sometimes challenge(!!) to produce shows with my beloved dancers and friends. Check out the Performance Collective for more information!
In 2022 I began to develop my teaching into an intensive, multi-week series format. This allows students to develop confidence and consistency with the material and gives them an ability to participate in their learning process. I'm looking forward to developing workshop material based on these modules, for 2023. Check out my current availability with classes!
In the fall of 2021, I had the honor of participating in Carmine Black's annual intensive, Sexy Seminary in Brooklyn, NY. This was an immersion into technical footwork progressions, as well as developing concepts of sensual movement. In 2019, I won 2nd place at the Pole Sport Organization Northeast regional competition in Boston, Mass. I created an original choreography for this piece and look forward to a future of live performances!
An Ashtanga Yoga practitioner since 2011, I completed my yoga teacher training in 2017, with Kathy McNames of Yoga Vermont. I have logged hundreds of hours helping students develop their intuitive movement practice and I have a vast selection of modifications for all body types.
